Dates: July 9-27, 2018
Venue: Lexington Presbyterian Church
From the Director:
I am thrilled to direct Summer FAIR this year and share my belief that the arts are fundamental to how we experience our lives. I have lived in several cities across the US, and in each, I have seen the ways that people continue to need art to process their lives and communicate their understandings of this world.
The overarching theme of Summer FAIR 2018 is Arts in the 21st Century. We are exploring the ways that art and craft forms intersect with our daily lives. Whether your child wants to move towards a profession as an artist, hone a loved hobby or try something new, we have a broad range of offerings that explore how the arts are knit together in the 21st century.
I am excited to introduce the staff of Summer FAIR 2018. Please click on their names below to check out their profiles and learn more about them.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and please come to the final showcase to see the products and ongoing processes of our learning!
